Following meetings are handled by Us;

Progress Review Committee meeting

This meeting will be held on fourth Tuesday at 8.30 a.m. in the Senate Room to review the progress of the activities such as Procurement of goods, Rehabilitation and Maintenance, Landscaping, Establishments matters, Sports activities of students, Research activities, University web site improvement, Career Guidance Unit's activities, Student Counselling activities, students' activities, Media Unit activities and other activities which are arising at that time.
Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor, All Deans, Registrar, Librarian, Bursar, All Administrative Officers and Chairman / Director / Coordinator of relevant Unit / Centre are the members of this Committee.
Assistant Registrar / General Administration will serve as Secretary of this Committee.

Deans' Committee meeting

This meeting will be held once a month i.e third Tuesday at 2.00 p.m. to discuss the administrative and academic activities of the University.
Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor, All Deans, Registrar, Librarian, Bursar, Works Engineer (on invitation) are the members of this Committee.
Assistant Registrar / General Administration will serve as Secretary of this Committee.

Annual Board of Survey on Fixed Assets and disposal of discarded items

Annual Board of Survey on Fixed assets will be coordinated and carried out by this division and further action will be taken to dispose the discarded items as per the UGC circular.

Rehabilitation of buildings

Rehabilitation of buildings are handling by this division as per the Procurement Guidelines and Manuals. Treasury allocated fund (101) and other funds such as Faculty Development Fund, University Development Fund, CDCE Fund, any other special fund, etc. will be used for this purpose.

The following are handling by the General Administration Division

  • Leasing / Purchasing of House / Land.
  • Termite control and mice / pest control in the University premises.
  • Cutting trees and other maintenance.
  • Payment of telephone bills / electricity bills / Internet bills / water bills.
  • Reimbursement of telephone bills of the eligible staff.
  • Providing new intercom / direct telephone connection and repairing & maintaining.
  • Rehabilitation of buildings
  • Procurement committee regarding rehabilitation and other works
  • Private Janitorial services
  • Private Security services
  • Gun repairing, servicing, renewing annual license
  • Disposal of the discarded items
  • Gully removals
  • Suppling and fixing Curtains, Vertical blinds, Horizontal blinds, and Carpets
  • Supplies and installation fire extinguisher and repairing & service
  • Fixing Name boards
  • Maintenance of Waste water treatment plants and Environmental protection license
  • Publishing Paper advertisement
  • Supplies Committee meeting regarding works and services
  • Quarters, Guest house and housing facilities
  • Maintaining records of the University Land and Property
Repairing & servicing of following equipment

Air Conditioners, Photocopy Machines, Duplo Machines, Lab equipment’s, Computers, Laptops, Printers, Multimedia projectors, Scanners, Gas cooker and gas plant, Water Pump, Oxygen cylinder repair and refill All other equipment.

Transport Unit:

Providing transport facilities to the Staff and Students for the Academic and Administrative purposes.
